the more i talk to people the more i realize i am not the only one having a little trouble getting into the swing of fall. so good to know i'm not the only one with a messy house.

welcome home! If you need to see another house where no one knows about hangers, closets, or even dishwashers ( forget the washtubs and hot corn water) just come on over to Wayside and you'll feel much better! I think sometimes if I just kept things in stacked tubs life would be much easier.
Again - welcome home!

i did it! last sunday and today, i caught up on all your posts (i started getting behind in june). reading your posts has made me want to:

1) pop the Anne movies into the vcr (yes, i have them on vhs), which i like to do on holidays. and two days ago i was looking through a box of books we had packed for when we move (who knows when) and ran across my Anne books. i thought we had already taken them to my mom's storage shed, so what a treat to find them again, along with my mitford books.

2) read all the shakespeare i either never read or haven't read since junior high.

3) make a pie.

4) take a hot bath.

it is so good to have you home, but i wouldn't trade the vicarious adventures of your summer for anything.
